Watford YBC gathered at St Peter’s church hall after league bowling on Saturday to attend the annual AGM followed by a glittering award ceremony.
The social committee had pulled out all the stops, serving a slap up meal of baked potatoes with various fillings, salads, cakes, biscuits, sweets and all manner of other yummy goodies.
Hollywood Bowl manager, Jason Bird, presented league trophies and also awarded special Hollywood Bowl practice cards to academy bowlers, Beth Hedley, Lee Glide, Maddie Simpson, Laura O’Brien and Kirsty Moore allowing them 3 free games every day! Thanks to Jason and Hollywood Bowl for your fantastic support of our YBC.
Doubles team winners were Matthew Brookes and Beth Hedley.
Singles winner was Austin Taylor.
Dylan Wright won the bicycle and a few other prizes!
Everyone won a prize and were delighted to show them off.

Watford YBC peewees, 7 year olds Austin Taylor and Jordan Jimenez took 1st and 2nd place at last weeks Staffordshire Junior Classic Singles held at Strykers Bowl, Tamworth.
Still in his first year at Watford YBC and playing in his first ever tournament, Jordan Jimenez behaved impecably and, despite all the natural pressures of playing in a competition, bowled a solid 97 average with a high game 131, only a few pins short of his personal best.
Austin Taylor dominated the peewee division from the start, opening with a 147 game and holding his lead throughout.
